Manchester haulier expands with pallet network membership

A family-run haulage firm in Manchester, that runs its entire fleet on renewable fuel, is accelerating towards expansion after becoming a Network Member of Pallet-Track. Worsley-based JSP Hauliers is investing over £200,000 in new vehicles and creating up to five new jobs because of this partnership. The firm anticipates moving circa 100 pallets per day by servicing the WN postcode area, on behalf of the network. Six-figure investment helps SSO Logistics plan for the future

SSO Logistics on Merseyside has invested more than £500,000 on a new 40,000 sq ft warehouse and six forklift trucks (FLTs), which has helped create 20 jobs. The Widnes unit complements the company’s existing warehouses in St Helens and Haydock and has space for 4,000 pallets. Government launches £200m trial of 370 zero emission trucks

A £200m programme to roll out 370 zero emission trucks and 57 refuelling and electric charging sites across the country has been launched by the government today (19 October). A Croydon logistics firm is driving into a new era after investing £1.5 million in 10 new vehicles.
