Based in south Worcestershire, Marshalls Transport (Evesham) Ltd is a well-respected, family-run distribution and storage business that has been under its current ownership for more than 35 years. Their services encompass a wide spectrum of transportation solutions, including freight shipping, warehousing, and distribution.

Delivering added-value solutions that are tailored to suit customers’ needs, their specialisms include the handling, distribution and storage of ambient temperature food products and moving abnormal loads. They are also a licensed waste carriage and storage company.


Marshalls of Evesham faced the challenge of managing their extensive network and general haulage fleet efficiently. They needed a solution that would provide better visibility across their network and enhance the efficiency of their general haulage fleet.

The absence of a robust Warehouse Management System (WMS) made it difficult for Marshalls to create customised reports tailored to their specific needs. Marshalls aimed to enhance their customer service by offering clients full visibility of their stock on-site. This required a solution capable of real-time tracking and reporting.


To meet these goals, Marshalls of Evesham partnered with Vigo Software who implemented two key solutions:

General Haulage System (GH): Vigo’s GH system provided Marshalls with a holistic view across their extensive network and general haulage fleet. Warehouse Management System (WMS): Vigo’s WMS empowered Marshalls to create bespoke reports that catered to their unique requirements.
