Business Development Manager

Full time

We are looking for an enthusiastic Business Development Manager to identify and develop new business opportunities to achieve the maximum amount of profitable sales through effective sales planning and execution, ensuring new and existing customers are aware of the company’s products and services.


  • Generate sales to achieve maximum profitability against annual sales targets.
  • Self-generate sales appointments utilising multiple data sources.
  • Manage the quotation process involving relevant management to ensure prices and costs are optimised.
  • Identify and exploit new sales opportunities with potential customers.
  • Monitor and report on customer account value to ensure that sales potential is fully exploited.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure all sales or other opportunities are identified.
  • Manage CRM solution to ensure the business reporting is accurate and produce when required KPIs and business reports.
  • Demonstrate current Vigo products and services and carry out needs assessment to determine customer requirements for company products.
  • Identify any new developments required in existing products to maintain their competitiveness in the market.
  • Regular review competitors products offering to ensure that we maintain our competitive edge.
  • Maintain effective internal communication to ensure that sales team are kept informed of sales objectives and developments, particularly in relation to current opportunities pipeline.
  • Monitor value of sales pipeline to ensure adequate values are maintained, ensuring conversion rates continually improve.
  • Contribute to the development of the company’ strategic plan, particularly in relation to sales objectives.
