An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Marketing Officer to join Vigo Software on a full time, permanent basis, based at our office in Bromsgrove.
Do you have strong experience in an all-round marketing position? If so, we want to talk to you! If you come from a logistics or software background, that will be beneficial but not essential.
Working under the direction of the Marketing Director, you will have a hands-on role, developing innovative programs that reach new customers, drive customer retention and revenue growth so you will need to be self-sufficient whilst working within the team to help reach Vigo’s marketing goals and objectives.
Your new role
As our Marketing Officer, you will be responsible for planning and organising marketing campaigns, creating strategies using different channels to reach our target audience, analysing data and spotting further opportunities.
You need to have at least 3 years in content and copywriting, come from a B2B marketing background and you must be able to event manage, project plan promotional events and manage a range of marketing campaigns.
If you have experience with SaaS that will be advantageous but not as important as your all-round marketing experience.
You should be someone who is flexible, able to manage your own workload but support the team where required. Vigo Software has so much to offer to someone who is motivated and driven to further their career.

What you will get in return
You will earn a salary of £35,000 – £40,000 per annum, depending on experience.
You will work Monday to Friday, 9am – 5.30pm on a 37.5 working hour week, from our office in Bromsgrove.

The successful candidate will need to be bought into to our customer service policies and live and breathe them at all times. They will be the first and sometimes only contact with Vigo and must represent the companies values. The issues that you will be dealing with are often time and business critical.
The successful candidate would join our Client Services Team in delivering exceptional customer service over the phone and by email. This is an extremely varied role where you will be the main point of contact for our customers and other internal teams for any customer related queries relating to the transport and warehousing software that we provide.
You will use your trouble shooting skills to identify the issues raised by customers, triage and assess the impact and if you cannot assist escalate accordingly.
You will work closely with the Technical Support teams to ensure we keep to the company standard SLA’s for the customer and ensure that the customer is kept fully up to date throughout. If for any reason we are going to breach SLA it would be your responsibility to escalate immediately.
