Aztek adds five new tractor units to fleet to meet growing demand
FORS Gold haulier Aztek Logistics has boosted its fleet after seeing a double-digit increase in demand over the past 18 months.
The Letchworth-based company has increased its fleet to 40 trucks with the inclusion of two TGX MAN tractor units, one TGM 26-tonne MAN rigid and two DAF tractor units.
The latest investment follows a series of new contract wins for the Pallet-Track member, including a deal with the NHS East Ambulance Service, which it won after stepping in to assist the NHS by holding high volumes of PPE and medical equipment free of charge.
Aztek now manages the stock and distribution of all consumables that go into the service’s fleet of ambulances – from PPE and test kits to bandages and mops and buckets.
