A family-run Teesside haulage firm is growing the business with new vehicles and new jobs following its membership into the Pallet-Track network. Redcar-based T&B Solutions, which provides road haulage services throughout the UK and Europe, was founded in 2014 by managing director Craig Wells. Manchester haulier expands with pallet network membership

A family-run haulage firm in Manchester, that runs its entire fleet on renewable fuel, is accelerating towards expansion after becoming a Network Member of Pallet-Track. Worsley-based JSP Hauliers is investing over £200,000 in new vehicles and creating up to five new jobs because of this partnership. The firm anticipates moving circa 100 pallets per day by servicing the WN postcode area, on behalf of the network. Six-figure investment helps SSO Logistics plan for the future

SSO Logistics on Merseyside has invested more than £500,000 on a new 40,000 sq ft warehouse and six forklift trucks (FLTs), which has helped create 20 jobs. The Widnes unit complements the company’s existing warehouses in St Helens and Haydock and has space for 4,000 pallets. Caernarfon-based H.F. Owen is the latest new member of the Wolverhampton network. Government launches £200m trial of 370 zero emission trucks

A £200m programme to roll out 370 zero emission trucks and 57 refuelling and electric charging sites across the country has been launched by the government today (19 October). The demonstrator programme will involve a number of major fleet operators, including Menzies Distribution, Eddie Stobart, and Royal Mail, with manufacturers DAF, Volvo, Renault Trucks, and Scania providing the battery electric and hydrogen fuel cell-powered demonstrator trucks. Pallet-Track has announced the appointment of a new CEO, Stuart Godman, who will head the company’s nationwide pallet network. Godman brings over 30 years of logistics sector knowledge to the business, having previously held senior positions at Absolutely, Connect Group, DX Group, Target Express and TNT Express.
